JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Injection Molding Process Technician works within a small team of process technicians and mold setters to support production by performing tool changes, startups, and process adjustments on large‑tonnage injection molding machines. This role is responsible for maintaining quality standards, optimizing cycle times, and supporting auxiliary equipment and automation systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform mold changes on Engel and Krauss Maffei injection molding machines ranging from 770 to 3500 tons.
- Start up injection molding machines using established processes.
- Adjust machine parameters to meet quality, performance, and cycle time standards.
- Set up and start robots using existing programs; perform simple robot program changes as required.
- Perform startup and in-process quality checks.
- Troubleshoot molding, automation, and auxiliary equipment issues to maintain production stability and quality standards.
- Experience working in injection molding as a Process Technician.
- Experience with linear robots.
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
- RJG or Similar Training
