Assistant Production Supervisor

Location: Rochester, IN

Salary: $62k - $67k depending on experience

Schedule: 1st shift and overnight shift available

Growing metal foundry and manufacturing company located in Rochester, IN is in need of an Assistant Production Supervisor to join the growing team!

• Assist in ensuring that all aspects of the quality system controlled by Production are maintained.
• Assist in ensuring that proper manning levels of trained and cross‑trained and training is maintained.
• Use Continuous Improvement Process to make the plant safer and increase profitability.
• Assist in ensuring that all following cards and processes are revised as necessary to reflect the process and that all processes stated are followed.
• Control scrap through prevention, investigation and correction of processes as required.
• Assist in ensuring the proper sampling techniques are followed for new and existing jobs.
• Assist with follow‑up on all Production operations, initial investigation of accidents, change processes and retrain Team Members.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Relevant manufacturing experience as a team leader or Assistant Supervisor
• Must be comfortable working in hot environments
• High School Diploma or GED
