Job Description SummaryTo define job responsibilities
Responsibilities- Processing of samples for dimensional and/or metallurgical testing as follows:
Forging metallurgical inspection - Forging dimensional inspection
- Machining dimensional inspection
- Final Audit Inspection (Forging and Machining)
- Data entry (Final Audit, etc.)
- Ensure accurate documentation completion as required
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
- Effectively communicates with Manufacturing and other departments as required regarding inspection results
- Effectively communicates within the QA department
- Assists with G.R&R studies and density maps
- Provides support to Manufacturing, and other departments as requested.
- As directed by the Quality Group Leader or Quality Manager
- High School Diploma or GED
- Working knowledge of Windows PC with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
- Basic GD&T knowledge
- Measuring devices (CMM, optical comparator, other handheld measuring devices)
- Basic metallurgy
