Overview

Aegis has partnered with a pharmaceutical manufacturing company in the Indianapolis area who is looking to add a Production Supervisor to their team!

This is a direct hire role on their night shift that includes a full host of benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401k match!

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and internal quality standards
  • Lead, coach, and develop production employees; manage performance, training, and corrective actions
  • Execute production schedules and adjust staffing or processes to meet operational demands
  • Monitor and investigate deviations, non-conformances, and incidents; support CAPAs and root cause analysis
  • Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues and improve performance
  • Track and report key production metrics (output, scrap, downtime, labor efficiency)
  • Support audits, inspections, and documentation requirements
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, batch records, and documentation standards
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required;
    Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or lead role
  • Prior experience in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment (food, chemical, pharmaceutical, or biotech)
  • Strong working knowledge of GMPs, quality systems, and regulatory compliance
  • Experience leading hourly production teams in a high-volume or batch manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and basic Microsoft Office tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in food, chemical, pharmaceutical, or life sciences manufacturing
  • Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience or certification
  • Experience supporting internal and external audits (FDA, customer, ISO)
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
