Full Time, First Shift

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Position Summary: To process all conventional or organic feed orders and ingredients to Herbruck’s strictest quality standards.

• Maintain cleanliness around receiving and loading areas
• Stocking supplies: bag ingredients
• Unloading bag ingredients
• Inventory of bag ingredients
• Any other duties assigned by management
• Ability to comply with the strictest standards for animal welfare and to report incidents of abuse, neglect or breach of biosecurity to preserve the health and welfare of our birds
• Implement and run the FMS/APEC systems
• Help to maintain inventory control
• Perform routine and unexpected maintenance and repairs
• Assist in weighing of trucks
• Any other duties assigned by management
• Ability to comply with the strictest standards for animal welfare and to report incidents of abuse, neglect or breach of biosecurity to preserve the health and welfare of our birds

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• All Safety courses are up to date
• Good standing with attendance
• Job observation completion of Feed Mill Operator I
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
• Able to work around moving machinery comfortably
• Working in a farm environment with very dusty conditions
• Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine or birds

• Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors
• Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift at least 25 lbs. continuously throughout the day

• Follow all company safety rules
• PPE
• LOTO authorized as assigned
• Welding/Grinding certification
• Power Industrial Truck certified
