Production Line Supervisor – Refreshed Tech Base pay range
$22.00/hr – $25.00/hr
The Production Line Accessories Supervisor oversees daily operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production output in the Accessory department. This role is responsible for leading a team of production associates, coordinating workflow, maintaining equipment readiness, and ensuring adherence to standards and company policies. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who excels at problem‑solving, communication, and driving continuous improvement.
Essential Duties, Functions and Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop production line staff to meet operational goals.
- Assign daily tasks and adjust labor resources based on production needs.
- Oversee daily workflow to ensure production schedules and output targets are met.
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback, training, and corrective action when needed.
- Conduct shift start‑up meetings, safety briefings, and maintain strong team engagement.
- Maintain accurate production, labor, and quality records.
- Monitor production processes to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot production issues and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure proper setup and changeovers of equipment and production lines.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Prepare shift reports, performance metrics, and improvement recommendations.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of production processes and safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high‑paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED;
Associate’s degree preferred. - Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Work is typically performed indoors in an environmentally controlled office environment with little to no exposure to extreme conditions or job hazards.
