Job Title:

Injection Mold Technician

We are seeking a mechanically inclined individual with at least two years of relevant work experience in setting tools for production and processing tools. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in using injection molding machinery, including testing devices, meters, moisture analyzers, chillers, thermometers, raw material handling systems, mold heat controllers, and mold presses.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot issues with injection molding equipment and processes.
  • Monitor production on multiple injection molding machines simultaneously.
  • Document processes and outcomes efficiently.
  • Lift up to 55 lbs and climb ladders as necessary.
  • React productively to changes and handle other assigned tasks.
  • Understand and comply with business, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work overtime when needed.
  • Maintain general knowledge of ISO and FDA CFR/GMP Medical Device certification and regulatory requirements.
  • Run production injection molded parts, including mold set-up, start-up, processing, production, and shutdown procedures.
  • Conduct basic maintenance of plastic injection molds and equipment.
  • Assist engineering with special projects as required.
  • Develop molding processes and written procedures.
  • Train operators and perform various production tasks.
Essential Skills
  • Mechanical inclination with experience in plastic/powered metal, set-up, and tooling.
  • Proficiency in using injection molding machinery and related equipment.
  • Good documentation skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and climb ladders.
Additional

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with ISO and FDA CFR/GMP Medical Device standards.
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment.

Environment

The work environment is clean and well-lit, located in a new facility. The position is for the second shift, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52,000.00 - $72,800.00/yr.

3 weeks of PTO in your first year plus 10 paid holidays. Major medical, dental, vision, and complementary insurance starting day 1. Monthly incentive bonus potential based on company performance. 401(k) with 50% match on your first 6% plus annual employer contribution opportunities. Stable first‑shift schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. Work in a clean, automated, regulated environment with strong growth potential.
