• Night Shift – 6:50 pm to 7:00 am

• This description covers operator positions in the recycling plant on the North Vernon complex.
• This position will report to the lead operator on the shift assigned. The operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of their machine(s) and for directing any material handlers assigned to support their line(s), including the Erema, Washline, and/or Compo under machines.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Operator pay rates will be consistent with the assignment.
• Operator’s duties include, but are not limited to:
• Monitoring raw material flow and inventories for their line(s).
• Achieving plant production objectives for assigned equipment.
• Performing assigned operational maintenance to satisfy PM requirements for assigned equipment.
• Maintaining proper record-keeping and production reporting.
• Ensuring safe and efficient execution of duties and overseeing the same for those assigned to support their line.
• Overseeing the quality of product being produced.
• Maintaining proper housekeeping.
• Training on assigned lines.

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre‑employment background and drug screen.
• Work overtime as required.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
• Some machine operating experience.
• Commitment to stay safe and to continue learning and developing.
• Satisfactory completion of training courses as determined by management.
