Planner​/Scheduler - Specialist

Overview

PRODUCTION PLANNING & SCHEDULING SPECIALIST. The Production planning & Scheduling specialist will join a 500 person, Global Manufacturing company to focus on planning and scheduling assembly lines, monitoring Customer Orders & due dates (as well as inventory) and coordinate / plan with production teams to ensure that the right parts get built at the right time.

Work will involve planning, scheduling, checking inventory, using the ERP / MRP system, and working in close concert with Production teams to ensure that products can be built on time.

Plan and schedule production activities to meet customer due dates and optimize use of resources. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to ensure availability of required parts. Use ERP/MRP systems to support planning and scheduling decisions. Collaborate with production teams to align scheduling with manufacturing capacity and material availability.

• 3 or more years experience as either Planner or Scheduler or in Production Planning, Production Control planning, Materials Management.
• Experience gained in Manufacturing Environment working in planning or scheduling or production control with use of ERP or MRP systems.
• Professional attributes - Communicate well, good interpersonal skills to deal with others effectively.
