Machine Operator

Overview

This machine operator job is for an automotive parts manufacturing company on the southside of Indianapolis. Shifts available include 1st from 6AM to 4PM and 2nd from 4PM to 2AM. Workers receive 2 paid 10 minute breaks and one 30 minute paid lunch break.

• Operate and set up CNC Mills and Lathe machines.
• Perform blanchard grinding operations and surface grinding on a table with magnetic chuck.
• Operate rotary surface grinder and wet surface grinding equipment as needed.
• Manufacture industrial iron castings and aluminum castings.

• At least 3 to 5 years of machine operating experience in an automotive manufacturing setting.
• Both Machine Operators need to have set-up experience.
• Experience with CNC - Mills and Lathes, and familiarity with blanchard grinding and surface grinding operations.
