Inside working environment on production floor. Noise levels on production floor require hearing protection, temperature fluctuates dependent on season. Working around powered industrial vehicles. Production floor can become slippery with oil.

As a Heat Treat Operator you'll be part of our team located in Montpelier, IN. You ll get to:

• Start up and shut down heat treat equipment (includes initial setting and adjusting of all controls and gauges)
• Move work to charge end of furnaces
• Load and unload work from furnaces
• Check and adjust all controls and gauges
• Inspection of completed parts (Rockwell), which includes keeping of records
• Clean and maintain necessary gauges
• Work in other departments on as needed basis, as directed by supervisor
• Operates PIV as needed to move part bins, load machines
• Maintain housekeeping standards
• Must be able to work overtime
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Mathematical ability and practical application of percentages and ratios
• Ability to read and write, effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to understand written, verbal or diagrammatical form of instructions
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, push, pull and reach.
• Ability to lift and/or carry 5-25 pounds regularly and occasionally 25-65 pounds with assistance.
