Our employees work to discover and bring life-changing medicines to those who need them, improve the understanding and management of disease, and contribute to communities through philanthropy and volunteerism. We are looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.

Position Overview

Lilly is entering an exciting period of growth and is investing over $1 billion to build a new, environmentally conscious, and highly automated campus in Concord, North Carolina. The brand-new campus will use the latest technology to increase capacity in parenteral (injectable) medications, device assembly, and packaging operations. This is a unique opportunity to build and operate a new site.

If you want to have a direct impact on building a team’s culture and how the team operates, this is the perfect opportunity.

During the project phase, the Operations Supervisor will support start-up activities to bring the Parenteral (PAR) area into service. The PAR department will own product formulation, aseptic isolator barrier filling, and visual inspection operations. Activities include coordinating start-up support among the team to train on equipment, develop technical proficiency, foster a diverse and inclusive culture, and lead operational readiness activities.

Once the facility is turned over to operations, the Supervisor will lead PAR operations teams. They will develop an inclusive culture and technical expertise within the manufacturing team and ensure lines are adequately staffed with trained and qualified employees. Strict adherence to safety and quality rules is expected. Direct line supervision includes line leaders and operators.

As a site leader and expert at our growing site, you’ll have significant opportunities for growth into future leadership and technical roles.
