Shift premiums available for 2nd & 3rd shift

Olson Custom Designs is hiring CNC Machinists to support the production of mission-critical, close-tolerance components for aerospace, defense, medical, and other high-reliability industries. This role is ideal for machinists who enjoy variety, precision work, and custom one-off or short-run jobs rather than repetitive production.

• Set up, operate, and run CNC machines to produce precision machined components
• Read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and technical drawings
• Verify part accuracy using precision measuring tools
• Adjust offsets, tooling, and machine parameters to maintain tight tolerances
• Assist in designing and building custom fixtures for unique jobs
• Communicate with teammates to prioritize and schedule work
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and quality
• Operate additional shop equipment such as grinders, polishers, and saws

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience (or vocational training)
• Ability to independently operate CNC machines
• Experience inspecting parts and holding tolerances
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• CNC trade school certificate
• Experience creating or editing CNC programs
• Solid
  
  CAM experience a plus

• Standing for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

• 1st Shift: Mon–Fri | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Mon–Thurs | 3:00 PM – 12:30 AM (Shift Premium)
• 3rd Shift: Mon–Fri | 12:00 AM – 7:30 AM (Shift Premium)
