Material Handler Responsibilities:

• Ensure a continuous flow of products to departments, handling hazardous materials safely and accurately managing inventory.
• Conduct daily/weekly safety inspections of racking conditions, pallet placements, and forklift equipment.
• Participate in morning meetings to discuss critical issues affecting production and quality, including handling rejected components in SAP.
• Perform shift handoffs effectively with the next shift leader.
• Cross-train in similar roles within warehousing or manufacturing sites.
• Support supervisory staff as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and operate forklifts safely.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Report discrepancies to management and adhere to FIFO inventory management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required; some college or technical training preferred.
• Experience with hazardous materials handling.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
