EMC Precision has provided complex parts in low‑to‑mid‑volume quantities expertly machined since 1925. Our Style Lathe Operator will be responsible for the Lathes with live tooling and the Vertical Mill 4th & 5th Axis, ensuring reliable, on‑time production of high‑precision components.

We are seeking an experienced, self‑motivated team member who can read and interpret drawings, use precision instruments, and troubleshoot machining issues to maintain productivity and quality.

• CNC machine experience required.
• Lathe experience with live tooling (Y axis) and sub‑spindle.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Read micrometer and other precision instruments.
• Calculate/adjust machine settings.
• Identify and solve problems.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area using 5S techniques.
• Responsible for daily upkeep and maintenance of equipment.

• High School diploma/GED preferred; must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Fluent in shop math.
• Minimum of one year of shop experience.
• Solid work history.
• Must be able to frequently push, pull, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, stand, see both general and close‑up, hear, speak, and use motor coordination (dexterity of hand, wrist, arm and fingers).
• Must be able to occasionally kneel, stoop, bend, grip, climb flights of stairs.
