You'll be offered extensive training, and the tight-knit working environment within the Manufacturing team means employees get additional training from their direct manager and peers when needed.

What

You'll Be Doing
  • Mount, position and adjust various cutting tools, adapters, collets, pushers, cams, threading devices and other tooling as needed to make a quality part as determined by drawing specifications and set-up guidelines.

  • Ability to set the proper feeds and speeds to ensure that a quality part is produced consistently.

  • May be responsible for programming CNC machinery, must be capable of designing and formulating programs which will produce a part in blueprint specifications.

  • Ability to create and troubleshoot programs, and make any necessary adjustments to programs or machine settings to produce parts.

  • Assist supervisor as needed to ensure that schedules are met.

  • Assist other team members in their duties to ensure a quality product and smooth flow.

  • Train, instruct, and assist other operators as required.

  • Move stock and material.

  • Operate machinery as specified.

What You'll Bring
  • Must pass Machine Set-Up Test

  • May be required to have tow motor license

  • High School Diploma or (GED) General Education Degree (applies to anyone hired after 1997)

Compensation

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a pay rate of $23.04 an hour.
