Machine Operator | HIRING IMMEDIATELY | North Vernon, IN

Compensation Includes:

• $17.75 per hour

Available Shift:

• Night Shift
  • 6:50pm - 7:00am

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• This description coversoperatorpositionsin the recyclingplant on the North Vernon complex.

• This position will report to the lead operatoron the shiftassigned.
  
  Thepersonwillbe responsible forthe safe and efficient operation of their machine(s) andfordirectingany material handlers assigned to support their lines(s) to include the Erema,Washline, and/or Compo under machines.

• Must be willing to work any shift.

• Operatorpay rates consistent with the assignment will apply.

• Operator’sduties will include but not be limited to:

• Monitoring the raw material flow and inventories for their lines(s)

• Achieving plant production objectives for assigned equipment

• Accomplishing assigned operational maintenance to satisfy PM requirements for assigned equipment

• Maintaining proper recordkeeping and production reporting

• Safe and efficient execution of duties and oversight of the same for those assigned to support you line(s)

• Overseeing the quality of product being produced

• Proper housekeeping

• Training on assigned lines

• Eligible to work in the United States
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen
• Work overtime as required
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
• Some machine operating experience
• The commitment to stay safe and to continue to learn and develop
• Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management
