Fabricator/Assembler
Job DescriptionA local manufacturer in Indianapolis is seeking a production worker focused on fabrication/assembly to join the 1st shift team. This role involves working in a clean and expanding job shop environment.
Responsibilities- Utilize computer systems to track production orders.
- Measure and mark steel for machine operations.
- Read and interpret production documents.
- Operate drill presses and saws.
- Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and production documents.
- Ability to accurately use a tape measure.
- Experience in machine operation including drill presses and saws.
- Strong mechanical assembly skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in fabrication and mechanical assembly.
- Familiarity with grinding processes.
- 1st shift: 6:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Thursday

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
