Fabricator/Assembler

A local manufacturer in Indianapolis is seeking a production worker focused on fabrication/assembly to join the 1st shift team. This role involves working in a clean and expanding job shop environment.

• Utilize computer systems to track production orders.
• Measure and mark steel for machine operations.
• Read and interpret production documents.
• Operate drill presses and saws.
• Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.

• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and production documents.
• Ability to accurately use a tape measure.
• Experience in machine operation including drill presses and saws.
• Strong mechanical assembly skills.

• Experience in fabrication and mechanical assembly.
• Familiarity with grinding processes.
• 1st shift: 6:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Thursday

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
