Electric Arc Furnace Operator; Melter - Rotational

Harrison Steel is seeking individuals to operate their electric arc furnaces (melters). Melters are responsible for operating and maintaining our 20-ton electric arc furnaces and directing the process to melt and refine steel to meet customer specifications. Each batch of liquid steel, called a 'heat', begins as recycled solid steel and takes approximately 3 hours to liquefy and refine. This position requires availability for any shift and flexibility to work different shifts with notice.
