Entry level

• Using various equipment and loading, assembling, and unloading parts and components from machines.
• Ensuring equipment runs according to the production schedule.
• Inspecting parts and components as they leave the machine to meet quality standards per QMM guidelines.
• Completing necessary paperwork.
• Transferring parts to and from subsequent operations as required.
• Participating in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities and reporting machine anomalies promptly.
• Assisting in the training of new employees as needed.
• Providing continuous improvement feedback to related value stream areas.
• Cross‑training on other functions within the team.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area following the 5S philosophy.
• Maintaining a safe work area and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Participating in BPS Kaizen events within and outside your area.
• Keeping accurate and detailed records of production dates, problems, downtime, etc.
• Being able to work overtime when required, sometimes with short notice.
• Performing any other essential duties as assigned.

• Previous Machine Operator experience is helpful but not required.
• High school graduate or equivalent from an accredited school.
• High mechanical aptitude to use and operate hand and air tools.
• Ability to read various functional gauges.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
