Receiving Technician

Location:

Indianapolis, IN

Shift: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

• Receiving, unloading, and processing incoming shipments
• Checking and verifying received materials against purchase orders or invoices
• Storing received materials in proper locations
• Kitting (picking and packing) orders accurately and efficiently for use in other departments
• Entering all parts receiving and moving into the computer system
• Preparing and staging products for shipment
• Conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling variances
• Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse
• Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, dollys, tablets, scanners

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
• Desire to participate in continuous improvement activities and on‑the‑job training to enhance skills
• Ability to visually identify quality discrepancies
• Ability to read Bill of Materials and Blueprints
• Ability to understand the demand for parts by departments according to the schedule in the computer
• Average oral and written communication skills
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

Candidates must be 18 years or older.

Long periods of standing (up to 8 hours) in a 10‑hour day, repetitive movement of fingers, hands, and arms, high attention to detail, and ability to inspect, count and differentiate parts.
