Production Associate Job Description

The Production Associate will work in a clean room environment, focusing on producing and packaging plastic parts of varying sizes. The role involves adhering to quality standards, safety protocols, and clean room regulations while inspecting and packaging products. The associate will need to perform basic troubleshooting on equipment as necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Pack small packages onto the line after placing covers on them.

  • Oversee the packaging equipment as it places tips into packages and the packages move down the line.

  • Print labels based on work instructions and apply them to sleeves.

  • Fill packages into sleeves and label these sleeves correctly.

  • Seal and label boxes containing filled sleeves, ensuring correct placement.

  • Monitor for quality issues and report them to the quality team.

  • 1st shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm, (Monday - Friday)

Work Environment

The work environment consists of a clean, bright, and organized clean room where associates work in shifts. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hair nets, beard nets, shoe covers, lab gowns, safety glasses, and gloves is required to maintain a no-DNA policy on products. The facility operates 24/7 with a well-lit parking area and 24/7 security. Shifts are Monday to Friday with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch, coordinated with team members to ensure continuous production.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.80/hr.
