What You’ll Get to Do

The Maintenance Technician is focused on repairs of components and reports to the Maintenance Manager
.

This role is perfect for an individual who has attention to detail (safety, quality, efficiency), strong work ethic/reliability, and is a problem solver. A vital member of the Maintenance Department
, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:
  • Be responsible for the mechanical/electrical performance of several automated production machines or equipment that perform one or more function in glass.
  • Maintain and observe operation of machines and equipment to ensure the production of high-quality glass.
  • Diagnose or troubleshoot machines or equipment to determine malfunction and the need for adjustment or repair.
  • Perform mechanical/electrical repairs and maintenance required for production such as: repairs or replace defective parts, install special functional and structural parts in devices.
  • If malfunction of the machine is detected, stop the machine and adjust or repair as necessary.
What We Are Looking For
  • Must have experienced skills with troubleshooting, repair, overhaul and operation of high-speed production machinery.
  • Experience with industrial electrical equipment, PLC’s/Driver and motors.
  • Mechanical and electrical experience. Ability to read electrical schematics.
  • Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, with hands‑on troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems, strong attendance record, and flexibility to work various shifts and weekends as needed.
