Data Center Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Center Technician I supports rack power‑up operations at multiple sites. You perform safety‑adherent tasks, shift work can include nights and weekends, and you may support more than one location.

• Support rack power‑up operations at multiple sites.
• Ensure safety procedures are adhered to while performing work.
• Shift schedule changes depending on site needs, including nights and weekends; shifts can be up to 12 hours and may rotate on a predefined schedule.
• Walk job sites in uneven terrain; maintain balance and perform construction tasks while on a ladder.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 39 pounds unassisted and participate in group lifts for 40 pounds.
• Regularly walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, climb stairs, twist, bend, work above shoulders, grasp, carry, push and pull.

• Technical (Military/Trade School) experience or experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant disciplines preferred.
• 1 year of electrical experience required.

Compensation range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce’s sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
