Forklift Operator

Location: Williamsport

Basic Function:

* To control the movement and flow of materials in a production environment in order to produce for TMF customers in a timely manner.

Responsibilities/Duties:

* Safely operates a sit-down LP truck

* Controls the flow of materials within department/plant

* Keeps the department stocked with parts, containers, etc.

* Keeps work area clean and organized - removing clutter, trash, and recycling

* Maintenance and daily safety inspections of the forklift

* Stocking inventory and updating in computer

* Other duties as assigned

Safety:

* Exhibits consistent safe working habits

* Wears all required PPE

* Practices safe work habits

* Aware of and properly uses light guards, emergency stops, etc. for safe machine operation.

* Maintains clean, clutter-free work areas

Quality:

* Operates at or above company quality standards

* Consistently practices inspection procedures as set forth in quality manual

Education and/or Experience

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Training requirements:

* Mentor one-on-one training
