1st Shift Receiving Department

1st Shift | 7a-3p | Receiving Department | Full-Time

Receive, sort, and move inbound materials, skid stock, and finished goods on the 1st shift (7am-3pm, Monday‑Friday). Work closely with production, shipping, and other departments to maintain accurate inventory and safe material flow.

• Operate forklifts and spotter trucks (certification required)
• Unload inbound trucks and transfer goods to designated storage or production areas
• Manage skid stock, empty hoppers, and support all departments with material movements
• Move finished‑goods (FG) skids to appropriate dispatch locations
• Maintain an organized skid yard and complete daily forklift safety checklists
• Report near misses and safety concerns immediately
• Execute thorough shift handoffs between 1st and 3rd shift

• Reliable, proactive, and detail‑focused workers who maintain accurate inventory
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate
• Experience with forklifts (preferred) and the ability to obtain certification if needed
• Adaptability and willingness to learn in a dynamic shipping environment
• Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential
