Maintenance Electrician – 3rd Shift

Dexter, a premier manufacturer of axles and suspension components, seeks an experienced Maintenance Electrician to work the 3rd Shift (10 PM–6 AM) at our Plant 13 facility in Albion, IN.

This role involves diagnosing and repairing electrical problems in accordance with industry standard practices, troubleshooting and reprogramming ladder logic, and assisting others with minimal supervision.

• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic equipment in accordance with standard practices.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test all major problems in in‑house equipment.
• Reprogram ladder logic and use software troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Provide guidance and training to technicians with little to no supervision.
• Maintain good attendance, follow all safety policies and procedures, and sustain a positive team environment.
• Assume control of the maintenance department in the absence of the supervisor/group leader.
• Work overtime as required to support production needs.

• Associate’s degree from two‑year college or technical school, or 5+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, CNC, and robotic systems.
• Understanding of basic electrical formulas applicable to the job.
• Ability to troubleshoot solid state devices and ladder logic.
