Location: Indianapolis
Manufacturing Assembly Associate II - 6:00am - 2:30pm
Position available at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences in Indianapolis, IN.
Responsibilities- Follow production processes and perform assembly duties within required daily goals while building products within quality standards
- Identify and solve typical production related issues, recommend process improvement and implement effective solutions
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals
- High school degree (or equivalent) with 2+ years experience
- Must be able to follow approved work instructions with attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience with MS office products, Microsoft Excel, email
- Travel to Miami, FL to train for at least 15 to 20 weeks
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Operate powered industrial equipment, hoists, and other tools with lifting up to 50 lbs., frequent bending, stooping, walking, during the workday
Preferred Experience
- Awareness of continuous improvement with participation in a kaizen project team is desirable
- Previous laboratory work experience preferred, especially in an FDA/ISO regulated manufacturing environment.
