- Lifts workpiece manually or uses hoist to secure workpiece in fixture or loads automatic feeding device
- Starts machine, engages feed, transfers or sprays application and observes operation
- Inspects and measures product to verify conformance to specifications
- Inspects and measures paint to verify conformance to specifications
- Moves machine controls and guides to adjust machine
- Adds coolant to machine reservoir and turns valve to start flow of coolant
- Programs Robot Pathways
- Programs Robot Application Controls
- Performs routine preventative maintenance on robots
- Provides immediate corrective action to robot faults
- Performs routine preventative maintenance on paint booths
- Engages equipment and observes spray applications
- Demonstrates responsibility for safety, quality and production
- Maintains all required records
- Responsible for proper collection, disposal and management of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes
- Has general awareness and knowledge of Quality Polish (TS16949) and Environmental Standards (ISO 14001) and how they affect the department
- Trained on department work instructions and easily identifies location of work instructions in department
- Keeps work area clean and organized
- All other duties as assigned
