Automation Technician - 2nd Shift

Overview

Automation Technician role focusing on maintenance, troubleshooting, and programming support within an industrial setting.

• Understand and follow work instructions and control plans
• Maintain an organized, clean work environment and positively impact the plant’s safety initiatives
• Conduct PLC ladder logic troubleshooting, hardware troubleshooting, programming and analog inputs & outputs
• Conduct troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of AC & DC motors and drives
• Perform basic programming and troubleshooting of robotic equipment
• Instruct team members on robotic paths, I/O, and interfacing
• Assist Automation Engineers and other departments during development, installation, and programming of line upgrades and line installations

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• AAS Degree with an Automation or Robotics emphasis preferred
• Demonstrated understanding of basic concepts, programming, and troubleshooting of CNC servo controls, encoders, and resolvers
• Valid driver’s license required for travel to other facilities or training locations
• Must demonstrate excellent attendance, attitude, and decision-making skills
