Summary:

Inspects received material for defects and conformance to required product specifications.

• Verifies conformance of the product to dimensional specifications.
• Release of material based on inspection / test results.
• Interprets basic engineering drawings.
• Effectively uses gages and measuring equipment.
• Performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics.
• Enters data into the computer for analysis and prepares graphs or charts.
• Verifies conformance to gages to calibration standards.
• Records inspection data.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to interpret written communication and blueprints/technical documents.
• Ability to maintain charts, graphs, and production reports.
• Ability to calculate basic mathematical computations.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Understand SPC, Control Charting, FMEA's.

• Capable of carrying out all assignments and maintaining the 5S philosophy.
• Ability to understand blueprints and technical documents (confirmed above).

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
