Management in Training

Overview

A Management Trainee works under the supervision of managers and executives within the organization. The program is designed to provide trainees a career path to become future managers within Parts, Service or Fixed Operations in the Stoops organization.

The program will be separated into two different sections:
Parts Management Training and Service Management Training. Each section should take the listed expected time to complete proficient training. Each area can be accelerated or extended as needed to obtain the required training level.

• Phase 1:
  Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse (3 months)
• Phase 2:
  Parts Delivery Program (1 month)
• Phase 3:
  Outside Route Sales (1-2 months)
• Phase 4:
  Stock/Inventory Preparation (1 month)
• Phase 5:
  Parts Sales (4-6 months)

• Phase 1:
  Sales and Service Department Relations (2-4 weeks)
• Phase 2:
  Technician (1 month)
• Phase 3:
  Service Advisor (4-6 months)
• Phase 4:
  Service Foreman (2-3 months)
• Phase 5:
  Warranty (2 months)
• Phase 6:
  Service Management (3-4 months)
• Phase 7:
  Stoops Uptime Fleet Support (1 month)

• Ability to promote professionalism and pride within the workforce
• Ability to carry out company policies and understand proper protocol
• Communicate and listen effectively
• Must be organized, excellent time management skills, professional manner in all facets of customer service
• Must have strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Open to relocation within the Indiana, Ohio, Michigan area/region
