Noblesville Boom President of Business Operations
The Noblesville Boom President of Business Operations is responsible for the overall business strategy, day-to-day operations, and long-term growth of the organization. This executive role leads all non-basketball aspects of the franchise, including ticket sales, corporate partnerships, marketing, fan engagement, community outreach, and game day experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Leadership
- Build a collaborative and high-performance culture that reflects the values of Pacers Sports & Entertainment.
- Represent the team in league meetings and strategic initiatives with the NBA and G League leadership.
- Partner with all PS&E departments to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and leverage expertise across the enterprise.
- Strengthen alignment across teams within PS&E, building bridges across the Pacers, Fever, and Boom organizations.
- Deepen and expand the team's partnership with City of Noblesville leadership, building on the strong existing relationship.
- Develop and implement practices that set up the Noblesville Boom to earn the G League "Team of the Year" award.
- Business Operations & Revenue Generation
- Lead all business operations, including ticketing, sponsorship, marketing, retail, and partnerships.
- Drive revenue growth across multiple streams with a focus on innovative ticket sales strategies and corporate partnerships to ensure the Noblesville Boom is a top-five revenue team in the G League.
- Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting, ensuring fiscal discipline, strategic investment, and responsible stewardship of organizational resources.
- Business Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, lead, and mentor a best-in-class team across all business functions.
- Champion employee engagement, talent development, and organizational excellence.
- Evaluate, build, and right-size long-term staffing models for both full-time and part-time employees.
- Collaboration with Basketball Operations
- Serve as a key partner to basketball operations leadership, supporting efforts to enhance fan-facing and community-related player experiences.
- Coordinate joint initiatives such as media content, fan engagement, public appearances, and in-game programming.
- Fan & Community Engagement
- Act as the "face of the organization" and ambassador of the franchise in the local market, strengthening relationships with fans, sponsors, media, civic groups, and grassroots organizations.
- Lead efforts to build brand affinity through compelling storytelling, community initiatives, and an exceptional game-day experience.
- Establish the team as a visible and valued part of the region’s sports and entertainment landscape.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in business, sports management, or related field preferred.
- At least ten years of progressive leadership experience in sports, entertainment, or a related industry.
- Experience with the G League or professional sports ecosystem highly preferred.
- Proven track record of revenue generation, strategic planning, and team management at the executive level.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L.
- Outstanding relationship-building skills, public presence, and executive communication ability.
- Must have proven ability to manage large-scale projects, from concept to completion to maintenance.
- Must be able to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruption.
