Construction Service Manager

Overview

The Service Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the service side of the business. This role manages service technicians, coordinates scheduling, ensures high-quality work, and serves as a key point of contact for customers after their pool installation. The ideal candidate has experience in the construction trades, strong leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both crews and customers.

• Lead, schedule, and supervise the service team responsible for pool covers, filters, maintenance, and post-installation services.
• Plan daily and weekly service routes to ensure timely and efficient job completion.
• Provide technical guidance and support to field technicians.
• Communicate with customers regarding service needs, timelines, and follow-up work.
• Ensure work is completed safely, professionally, and in line with company standards.
• Maintain inventory of service materials, tools, and supplies.
• Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding new technicians.
• Handle basic customer concerns and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Collaborate with installation and office teams to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional customer experience.

• Experience in construction trades, facilities, mechanical, or related hands-on field required.
• Prior leadership, crew management, or field supervision experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in a physical, fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
