Facilities Technician

Main responsibility will be operating floor scrubber throughout the plant facility everyday both sit on and walk behind & emptying trash container throughout the production floor.

• Perform a variety of minor maintenance tasks as needed inside and outside of plant (standard and non-standard work)
• Perform daily plant walk and complete plant check list
• Ensure outside building perimeter is cleaned, picked up, sidewalk snow & ice maintenance and outside break areas maintained
• Work with various plant personnel to improve the overall cleanliness and order of the plant facility.
• Perform any other duties as assigned including, but not limited to production work, rework and/or quality sorts, etc.

• Must project a positive and energetic attitude
• Must be self‑motivated; requiring minimal supervision
• Must be able to obtain a motorized vehicle (Floor Sweeper) license through Multimatic Butler
• Able to work in confined areas
• Able to work in both hot & cold environments
• Able to lift up to 50lbs, occasionally

• High School graduate or GED
• Demonstrated organizational skills & experience

The ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents and work instructions.

Ability to work with simple mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

The ability to apply commonsense understanding of priorities, instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

• The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to feel or handle objects, tools or controls; reach and lift with hands and arms; talk, see and hear.
• The employee may occasionally be required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• The employee must be available during all hours if needed, and have the flexibility to work various shift hours if needed.

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate frequently works near moving parts.
• The associate is frequently exposed to electromagnetic fields, risk of electric shock and vibration.
• The associate may occasionally work in high precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
• Associate may be subject to temperature extremes for extended periods of time.
