Janitor, Cleaning Services, Maintenance Worker
Harrison Steel has openings in its janitorial staff. Janitors at Harrison Steel are responsible for cleaning various areas, including restrooms, shower houses, canteens, break rooms, and offices. Daily duties include cleaning and sanitizing, emptying trash, washing walls, sweeping and mopping floors, and stocking supplies. Previous janitorial experience is a plus, and an active driver's license is preferred.
Work EnvironmentThe employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts, extreme heat and fumes, or airborne particles, and is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, non-weather related extreme cold, water and humidity, and the risk of electrical shock is common. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places. Typical noise level is loud. The employee may need to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
