Maintenance Worker, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

primary duties & responsibilities

• responsible for performing plant maintenance and repair as directed by supervisor or plant manager.
• recommend to maintenance supervisor any new or replacement equipment needed.
• monitor the performance of all production machinery to ensure that such machinery is operating at peak efficiency to assure maximum production with minimum scrap.
• observe good housekeeping practices in all work areas.

the maintenance worker reports directly to the maintenance supervisor or shift supervisor.

• minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance field.
• technical/college training is preferred.
• must have own tools.
• must have experience with electrical and pneumatic machinery.
• must be experienced forklift operator.
• must have working knowledge of all osha mandated safety practices such as lockout tagout.
• must be able to perform essential physical functions, as established by rbc precision products – bremen, with or without accommodations.
• education: high school.
