Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills. An SAP IBP Lead job description focuses on leading the design, implementation, and ongoing support of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions, involving translating business needs into system configurations, managing project deliverables, training users, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to improve supply chain planning processes like demand, supply, inventory, and S&OP. The role requires strong SAP IBP configuration knowledge, excellent leadership and communication skills, and experience in managing projects and supporting users.
- Configuration knowledge in IBP and PPDS
- Understanding of integration technologies like CPI-DS and RTI
- Experience in SAP Materials management and APO
- Troubleshooting experience and ability to provide/propose wholistic solutions
- Excellent analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving complex business process and system issues.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders, coupled with leadership abilities.
- Manage end‑to‑end IBP implementations, including project planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, system design, and configurations within SAP IBP.
- Configure SAP IBP modules (e.g., Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP) to meet specific business needs, including setting up planning workbooks and integrating with other SAP systems.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, cross‑functional teams (supply chain, IT), and external partners to ensure alignment and successful adoption.
- Provide training to end‑users and develop comprehensive user documentation, including functional specifications and user manuals.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot IBP‑related issues, and recommend enhancements or upgrades to optimize the solution and improve processes.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their growth and sharing expertise.
- In-depth knowledge and hands‑on experience with SAP IBP, including its functionalities and configuration tools.
- Strong understanding of demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, S&OP, and related business processes.
Salary Range: $120,000-$160,000 a year
