Sr. Front-End Developer; React

In this full-time position, the qualified candidate will:

• Provide consulting services for implementation of design and user experience across a variety of platforms/devices.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Designers, and Developers to define interface and user requirements.
• Work on project teams with project tasks that are applicable to your specified discipline.
• Develop web and/or application functionality per specifications.
• Layout interfaces between the Front and Back-End systems and work closely with the development team.
• Maintain consistency of HTML and CSS across websites and applications per established style guides.
• Contribute to estimates for project tasks that may be required within your specified discipline.
• Deliver technical and process documentation.
• Provide mentoring and direction for other Consultants within the specified discipline.
• Ability to work independently within in specific discipline.
• Ability to present and work directly with our customers in a customer-facing capacity.
• Be viewed as a Thought Leader amongst your peers for your specific discipline.
• Provide best practices and process improvement initiatives.
• Provide input and help define new solution offerings within their specific discipline.

Qualified candidates will demonstrate technical and functional knowledge of designing and developing for e-commerce platforms such as HCL Commerce, Hybris, Magento, and Big Commerce.
React development is the focus of this role.

• At least 5-7 years experience within specific discipline.
• Proficient with web standards (W3C).
• Extensive experience with Responsive Web Design (RWD) and implementation.
• Knowledge of user-centered design best practices and trends across web and mobile platforms, as well as knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
• Knowledgeable in client-side performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with developing on content management platforms such as Word Press, Drupal, and Joomla.
• Experience with unit, system, and integration testing.
• Understanding of ADA compliance for website and application development.
• Effective organizational and time management skills, along with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in support of client-facing consulting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
