Scope
The IT Support Specialist provides frontline technology support to staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of the IT department. This role assists the IT Manager with helpdesk requests and technical troubleshooting.
This role is ideal for a technically savvy, hands-on problem solver. The IT Support Specialist is an essential team member who ensures staff have the tools, processes, and environment they need to thrive.

Required
- 1–3 years of IT helpdesk or technical support experience.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with hardware, software, and common office technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience supporting process rollout or project coordination.
- Nonprofit, mission-driven organization experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or similar productivity suites.
- Serve as the first point of contact for staff helpdesk requests (hardware, software, accounts, printers, connectivity, etc.).
- Assist with workstation setup, configuration, and maintenance for new and existing employees.
- Support the IT Manager with technology updates, inventory management, and user account administration.
- Document IT support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Provide basic training and guidance to staff on software and technology tools.
- Full-time, on-site position (some flexibility may be available depending on organizational needs).
- Standard office environment with occasional physical work (lifting, assembling, moving).
