Logistics Analyst

Performs Logistics support relating to the delivery of end item deliverables. This position requires a willingness to learn in-depth understanding of governmental contractual requirements in order to create and ship end item deliverables. Produces documentation to obtain customer acceptance and provide the necessary data to invoice the customer for billing. The documentation may include the DD250, DD1149, DD1348, an International Commercial Shipper and/or a Domestic Commercial Shipper.

Position requires a high degree of accuracy, patience and due diligence. Team oriented environment. Position also includes cross functional duties within receiving, shipping, and inventory/material control.

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-tasking work environment.
• Demonstrate ability to interface with a wide variety of internal and external customers, peers, and management in order to deliver results in assigned areas.
• Successful experience with being tactful and diplomatic in regard to assisting customers
• Responsible decision making with minimal supervision.
• 4 to 6 years of intermediate knowledge & experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to perform research and analysis in a variety of systems
• Ability to create a shipment and review for WAWF
• Ability to adhere to customer requirements for the delivery of contractual deliverables
• Ability to be flexible and adaptive to learning new job responsibilities and tasks

• 4 to 6 years relevant experience

• Knowledge of Logistics practices
• Knowledge of SAP applications including Horizon, S4
• Knowledge of DFARS Appendix F
• Knowledge and functionality of Wide Area Workflow (WAWF)
• Knowledge of S4 Shipping processes
