Location: Onsite — Plainfield Distribution Center, Plainfield, Indiana
Reports To: Associate Director – Operations or Associate Director - Senior Operations Associate
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (5 days/week). Must be flexible to work overtime or alternate shifts based on business needs.
Position SummaryThe Technical Writer supports the NALO Operations Team by providing compliance and documentation expertise. This role is responsible for facilitating, authoring, editing, and managing SOPs, Change Controls, and Deviation documentation. The position collaborates closely with Operations Support Staff and cross-functional teams to gather information and drive progress on key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a technical writer for documentation related to change management and internal processes using systems such as Track Wise and Veeva.
- Act as Document Controller/Editor to support procedural revisions, reviews, approvals, and workflow management.
- Support the preparation, tracking, and completion of documents related to departmental initiatives, projects, and operational improvements.
- Prepare and maintain documentation and reports within a cGMP environment.
- Collect, develop, maintain, and track project progress using visualization tools such as Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, and dashboards.
- Follow all client guidelines and company Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and management systems.
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on departmental needs and workload.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a cGMP-regulated environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, including document tracking and naming convention management.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Knowledge of document control systems and change control processes.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and networking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in systems such as Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Track Wise, and Veeva Vault.
- Positive, professional attitude with demonstrated alignment to company values.
