Scrum Master

The Scrum Master is responsible for leading and assisting cross-functional development teams responsible for project delivery and bringing features to market. This role will facilitate the Project Team through the agile development process of release planning, sprint planning, daily standup meetings and retrospectives. The Scrum Master is also responsible for removing any impediments to help the delivery teams meet their sprint commitments.

• Serves as Scrum Master for client product/delivery teams
• Guides and coaches the scrum team on how to use agile/scrum best practices and values
• Coaches the business to perform as effective Product Owners and stakeholders
• Continually evaluates team scrum process capabilities and suggest/implement process improvements in a constructive and collaborative manner
• Works collaboratively with cross-functional scrum teams and development managers to support the full software delivery lifecycle
• Participates proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices
• Maintains relevant metrics to show management how teams are delivering/progressing
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

• Experience working with multiple Agile frameworks and practices
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and other agile team productivity tools
• Experience working within the SAFe framework a plus
• Exceptional interpersonal, facilitation, coaching, and negotiation skills
• Excellent listener with conflict-resolution skills
• Strong leadership skills with a positive and collaborative attitude
• Experience working with all areas of IT and with business stakeholders

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degrees are a plus
• Project Management Professional certification or Six Sigma certification is a plus
• 3+ years’ combined experience as Scrum Master, with demonstrated mastery of managing projects in Agile/SCRUM environment
• Experience in pharmaceuticals, life science or healthcare a plus
