  • Proactively assess and manage infrastructure health across network, compute, storage, virtualization, and cloud-connected services supporting critical applications.
  • Partner closely with application owners, plant and business stakeholders, engineering, cybersecurity, and global infrastructure teams to align infrastructure capabilities with application requirements and uptime expectations.
  • Serve as the technical coordination point for infrastructure engagement, ensuring application needs are clearly represented and addressed by the appropriate specialist teams.
  • Lead proactive health and reliability reviews, focusing on dependency mapping, trend analysis, lifecycle risks, and capacity constraints.
  • Coordinate incident response and technical escalations for application-impacting issues, ensuring rapid engagement, clear communication, and efficient recovery.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions, working with engineering and service partners to reduce recurrence and improve long-term stability.
  • Promote standard architecture, repeatable patterns, and improved observability to increase consistency, resilience, and predictability across critical applications.
  • Support technology roadmaps and lifecycle planning, guiding modernization efforts and preparing applications for future demands.
  • Provide technical direction and oversight to internal SMEs and service providers, ensuring day-to-day operations align with reliability and availability objectives.
Qualifications
  • Strong technical foundation supporting enterprise or mission-critical applications, with experience in one or more of network, compute, storage, virtualization, and cloud-connected platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead technical coordination across multiple applications or sites, driving consistent reliability and uptime outcomes.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing systems and other critical applications where availability and performance are essential.
  • Demonstrated strength in incident leadership and escalation management, including root cause analysis and follow-through on preventative actions.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and reliability practices, such as health dashboards, trend analysis, and capacity planning.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical risks and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A track record of influencing outcomes across global, cross-functional organizations without direct authority.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field with 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, technical support, service delivery, customer or operational success engineering, or similar roles supporting critical applications.
