Salary Range: $103,700 – $163,020 USD Position Overview
The Lead Business Analyst serves as the Trade Channel’s authority on transforming analytics into actionable insights. This role defines how the organization collects, visualizes, and interprets data to drive informed business decisions.
The position leads execution of the Trade Business Intelligence (BI) roadmap, aligning analytics capabilities with both current and future strategic needs. Acting as a change agent, this individual promotes data literacy, storytelling, and insight-driven decision‑making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities Analysis & Insight Development (50%)- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and performance drivers.
- Conduct diagnostic and predictive analyses to explain past performance and forecast future outcomes.
- Translate findings into clear narratives and strategic recommendations.
- Deliver ad hoc analyses, presentations, and reports aligned to leadership priorities.
- Lead development of interactive dashboards and visual reporting tools.
- Collaborate with data science teams to define data sourcing and integration requirements.
- Establish KPIs as a single source of truth for trade channel performance.
- Develop visualization standards and best practices for clarity and adoption.
- Train stakeholders and drive consistent BI tool usage.
- Execute the Trade Business Intelligence roadmap aligned with business strategy.
- Define priorities, milestones, and measurable success criteria.
- Promote data democratization and data literacy across teams.
- Identify and introduce emerging BI capabilities to enhance operations.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in business analytics, category management, or related areas.
- Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Expert‑level proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with data technologies such as SQL, Snowflake, Azure, or Python preferred.
- Demonstrated experience building dashboards that influence business decisions and drive adoption.
- Strong stakeholder relationship management.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive.
- Analytical and curious mindset with strong problem‑solving ability.
- Persuasive communicator capable of storytelling with data.
- Strategic thinker who aligns BI initiatives with business goals.
- Team‑oriented and adaptable in cross‑functional environments.
Salary Range: $103,700 – $163,020 USD
