Overview
Lead the Charge in Defense Excellence. Alluvionic is seeking an Acquisition Quality Manager to support the Naval Special Warfare Center (NSWC) at Crane, IN. Must be a US Citizen with an active clearance.
Location:
Crane, IN (On-site/Hybrid). Position contingent upon award of contract.
- Serve as the point of contact for obtaining IT approvals for procurement of IT hardware, software, and/or services via the Crane Chief Information Officer (CIO) Office and the Navy Information Dominance Approval System (NAV-IDAS).
- Perform Acquisition Management Specialist (AMS) and Acquisition Quality Manager (AQM) functions by generating acquisition packages to support customer IT procurement requests.
- Prepare NAVSEA/NAVSUP statistical acquisition reports.
- Establish and maintain electronic and/or hardcopy data libraries of documents and work orders for processing.
- Coordinate with AMS and AQM personnel to support customer IT approval procurement needs and document as required.
- Interface with customers/users across departments to obtain IT procurement requirements; analyze to determine the best approval approach; gather information to process requests; review compliance; and input Information Technology Procurement Requests (ITPRs) into NAV-IDAS.
- Perform requirements identification, solution determination, justification write-ups, compliance validation, and respond to inquiries, including defense of need or approach.
- Assist customers in obtaining compliance across various compliance areas.
- Track all in-progress requests, maintain communication with customers, respond to rejections and questions on ITPRs; interface with the Crane CIO Office; coordinate with the Crane
Functional Area
Manager group on Navy registration requirements; and collaborate with customers and managers. - Develop requirements and assist with generating documentation to obtain Navy-level approval to procure servers and server software for use in RDT&E environments.
- Review, follow up, and resolve errors during the acquisition cycle.
- Provide tracking and analysis of procurement data to support recommendations for improving quality, schedule, and efficiencies.
- Participate in developing and maintaining acquisition documents and assist with validation/verification and discrepancy resolution of document requirements.
- Ensure organizational adherence to FAR/DFARS/NMCARS, including NSWC Crane Acquisition Quality Assurance Guide.
- Develop Procurement Data Packages (PDP) from line departments to address pre-solicitation requirements in preparation for solicitation.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field from an accredited university (advanced degree preferred). If no bachelor’s degree, a minimum of six (6) years’ experience required.
- DAWIA certification preferred. Clearance
- Active Secret clearance required.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience working with DoD acquisition.
- Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods; able to lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS.
- Familiarity with IT for NAVSEA (compliance).
