LINUX CLOUD ENGG – Linux Fundamentals:

• Proficiency in various Linux distributions, command-line tools, and kernel concepts is essential.
• System Administration:
  Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers, including user management, software installation, and system updates.
• Scripting:
  Ability to automate tasks and streamline workflows using scripting languages like Bash, Python, and Perl.
• Networking:
  Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, etc.), firewalls, and network troubleshooting.
• Virtualization:
  Experience with virtualization technologies like Hyper-V.
• Cloud Computing:
  Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
• Automation:
  Knowledge of automation tools like Puppet, Chef, and Ansible.
• Security:
  Understanding of Linux system security principles, firewalls, and intrusion detection.
• Version Control:
  Experience with Git and other version control systems.

• Problem-Solving:
  Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Communication:
  Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for documentation and collaboration.

• Storage Area Networks (SAN):
  Understanding of SANs and their configuration for Linux systems.

• 5+ years of experience with architecture, implementation, and operation of a Linux-based compute environment.
• Expert knowledge of Linux Environments (RHEL, Centos, Ubuntu). Automation of build, test, and release of Linux images.
• Experience managing and maintaining job scheduling tools
• Experience in an Oracle database environment is a plus
