General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to support the Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS). This role requires an active Secret clearance and is based in New Orleans, Louisiana. The position is full‑time, with less than 10% travel and onsite telecommuting options.
Job DescriptionThe Senior Business Analyst will analyze business and technical processes, coordinate with stakeholders, document functional and reporting requirements, and serve as the Senior Functional Analyst for analytics applications.
Responsibilities- Analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing requirements.
- Coordinate with customer, business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements.
- Serve as the Senior Functional Analyst defining business intelligence requirements for analytical applications and reporting.
- Document functional, business intelligence analytics, and reporting requirements.
- Decompose high‑level functional requirements and write system and technical requirements for development and testing.
- Work collaboratively with developers, testers, and customers.
- Translate customer needs into system, hardware, software, performance, network, and interface requirements.
- Perform requirements analysis for hardware and software through customer interviews, comparisons to existing requirements, creation of process flows, use cases, and other artifacts.
- Interface with system developers and testers to clarify requirements and validate design, development, and testing.
- Be familiar with US Navy’s personnel and pay systems for active and reserve officers and enlisted personnel.
- BS degree (additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
- 10+ years of experience with People Soft HCM, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), Business Objects, and People Soft.
- Experience documenting functional, business intelligence analytics, and reporting requirements.
- Experience as a Business Case Analyst responsible for decomposing requirements and writing coding and testing requirements.
- Working knowledge of People Soft HCM and business intelligence reporting software.
- Must hold a Secret clearance.

The likely salary range for this position is $96,050 – $129,950.
