Business Analyst - W2 - Indianapolis, IN
Dice is the leading career destination for tech experts at every stage of their careers. Our client, Geopaq Logic, is seeking a Business Analyst for a 1‑year contract in Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid).
Essential Duties / Responsibilities- Work through complex issues that include creating test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts mapped to workflow and system design requirements.
- Replicate, isolate, and identify root causes while providing workarounds, testing, fixes, and patches in staging or test environments.
- Monitor system issues and provide feedback.
- Research and resolve front‑end/user and back‑end/system problems by diagnosing the root cause, hypothesizing, and mapping out possible solutions, and testing those solutions in the QA environment.
- Resolve issues by engaging appropriate business/policy staff, software developers, and/or vendor specialists.
- Assist users in monitoring and analyzing their data via SQL querying and reporting.
- Work closely with end users, project management, application developers, and others to understand features and create a robust, comprehensive test strategy to verify functionality.
