Sr. Automation Engineer – Proficy​/CopaData; Onsite

Responsibilities

• Support equipment shakedown, startup, and troubleshooting
• Assist with C&Q activities
• Provide support for systems using Proficy, Copa Data, and Codeys platforms.
• Assist with qualification of edge devices, firewalls, and industrial PCs.
• Troubleshoot data flow and connectivity issues across multiple vendor systems.
• Participate in testing and documentation for MQTT-based data integration.
• Experience with Proficy, Copa Data, and Codeys automation platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Understanding of MQTT and distributed control architectures.
• Nice to Have:
  Siemens and Rockwell PLC/HMI experience.

The annual salary for this position is between $70,000 - $109,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
